Retief Goosen dominated the filed today shootomg 5 shots better then his his nearest competitor with an 8-under 64 on the day. To lead round one co-leader Dustin Johnson by two strokes.
Johnson had five birdies on the day, but his bogey on the par-4 17th hole cost him the opportunity to retain his first round lead.

Padraig Harrington (#3 ranking) shot a 1-over on the day and finished with 3-over through two rounds, Harrington had four bogey`s and three birdies on the day.
Vijay Singh (#4 ranking) shot a 3-over on the day and match Harrington`s 3-over through two rounds. Singh only managed one birdy on the day while carding five bogeys.
Phil Mickelson (#5 ranking) shot a 1-under 71 on the day after shooting an even-par in Thursday`s first round, falling one shot short of making the cut.
